New Year's Eve

We were all dispersed, doing our own things for NYE.  Reagan had a sleepover with friends, Colby was with Tech friends, Quinn was in Chicago with his girlfriend, and Rob and I hit the Salmi's for a party serving sauteed beaver.  You read that right.  BEAVER.  Trapped in their yard.  Disgusting.  I couldn't stomach it, but Rob had TWO helpings and declared it delicious.  No thank you.  Overall, it's been a good year for us Ahos.  We survived without life changing scars, and have many blessings to be thankful for. 

And the day was spent skiing with the Velats.  I cannot keep up with these people, but I try my darndest.  They are very patient with me, but I slow them down a LOT.

Niece Teryn has transferred to Gonzaga University for basketball, and we can now watch her on ESPN.  It's fun to cheer her on each week.

We also went out to Chinese food for Quinn's "last meal" before leaving for his NEXT vacation (this kid does not know how to stay in one place for long). 

Boxing Day Fun

 

Boxing Day was Family Day!  We went up to Mount Bohemia's Nordic Spa to soak and relax.  No better way to spend some quality time with the fam.

And game playing.  We've gotten into Settlers of Catan.
