Happy Halloween!

Reagan won second place in her age division for her Circus Ringmaster/Lion tamer costume.  Gunny was not really a willing participant, and Reagan really DID have to tame that beast!

Halloween Treats

It's nice that Reagan is old enough to make her own classroom treats for the school Halloween party.  Mama bought the ingredients, and Reagan went to town, with very little of my help required.  YES!!
And they turned out darned cute!

A Visitor For Dinner

Nothing is ever boring when Father Ben comes for dinner.

Feast Day Fun: All Saints Day

We celebrated All Saints Day with the faith formation students at church by playing Saints BINGO, and having a photo booth for the little ones to dress up as their favorite saint.  So cute.

Cider Making

Normally when we make apple cider, we do it the "21st Century" way, using my juicer.  THIS time, Katie brought over her hand-cranked apple press, and we made cider the way it was intended... squished and pure.  I have to admit, there is a difference!  This apple cider was just so clear, no pulp whatsoever, and so naturally sweet since we did it late in the season after the sugars were set by the frost.  It was DELICIOUS.  And just so so so much fun.

Treat Street

We're down to one kid participating in the annual Houghton Treat Street.  This one is still all about it, though, and had a fabulous time gathering candy, dressed as a circus ringmaster!
