A Nice Surprise

 The sportswriter for the local newspaper nominated me for "The Upside", where the news highlights the work people in the community do.  Which was super unexpected and a nice surprise.  

Quinn's Five Minutes of Fame

 The NFL Draft hit Detroit this year, and Detroit was SUPER EXCITED.  To the tune of millions of people in the streets.  The boys were amongst the throngs, and even caught a glimpse of Detroit Lion's quarterback Jared Goff.  Rumor has it Jared Goff even stopped to talk to them momentarily.  Which they thought was pretty darn cool.  Afterwards, the news interviewed Quinn about the experience.  Autographs can be had for a small fee.

Galveston!

 Superior Roboworks came in 14th place, and only he top nine teams advance to the finals, but each of THOSE top teams get to pick two partners to be on an alliance with them.  So odds were good that our team would be picked and move on.  Alas, no.  When the draft happened, Francois was overlooked, and our time at the competition was done.  It was a great showing for a small, rural school in Michigan.  These kids have a lot to be proud of!  To celebrate, we loaded up and headed to Galveston to see us some ocean.
