Father/Son Canadian Adventure

Rob has had one adventure after another this summer!  This time, he took his dad along, and they flew to Canada for some fishing.  There were a LOT of smiles going around.  So cool that they got to share this experience together!

While the Cat's Away.....

Rob and his Dad are in Canada fishing, so us gals got together for lunch!  What fun we had laughing and chit chatting (and making hilarious Snapchat videos)!

The Fair!

It's always expensive and a tad overwhelming, but I have to admit.... it's fun to go to the fair.  Even if you're the mama, who doesn't waste money on carnival rides for herself because that's literally just puking money away.  Watching the kids twirl and fly is more fun anyway. 

As an added bonus this year, I think we discovered our kids' thing.  You know.  The thing that their bodies are just made for... that comes naturally to them... that they excel at without really trying.  ROCK CLIMBING.  I was watching the rock climbers for nearly an hour and a half, and didn't see anyone make it all the way to the top.  And then here comes Colby, and climbs up in like three minutes, as if it were nothing.  Reagan very nearly made it to the top, and only stopped because she looked down and then remembered... "I'm afraid of heights!".  So each kid tried one time, and with their spindly, spider-like appendages, climbed that wall like there were suction cups on their finger tips.   Crazy!!

Blueberries!

The boys and I had already picked 13 pounds of blueberries earlier in the month.  But Reagan really wanted to pick, too, so we went again.  Really, can you ever have too many blueberries in your life?
