Father Son Camping Fly In to North Fox Island

Quinn and Dad flew in to North Fox Island for a camping trip.  Although this island has a sordid history, it has a newly opened air strip (as of last year), and is apparently a fabulous place to spend a night or two.  Colby and Dad went last year, so this year was Quinn's turn.  Perfect weather, no bugs (besides the beetle that took a liking to Rob), lots of together time.

A Day At The Beach

So, it was not a RELAXING day, as the beach had eroded away, and the wind was up, as were the waves,  so we were constantly counting heads to make sure everyone was above water and not sinking below, BUT..... still.  A fabulous, idyllic summer's day.  The stuff of childhood memories.  I love it!
