Skiing the Noquemanon

 This was all of our sit-skiers first big race, and MAN was it a doozy.  The course was definitively NOT set up for sit-skiers.  The conditions were poor, the trails barely groomed, chunks of ice, paths sloping into rivers - just super challenging.  Can't say it was FUN per se, but they did it.  Every last one of them finished, and I was so proud.  They all did the super hard thing and finished.  It was pretty dang cool.

 Reagan tried out cross country skiing for the first time!  I think she thinks it's a lot of work, and prefers the down hill speeding thing.  

A Trip To Ann Arbor and Detroit

Colby has an interview at the U of M, which is a good opportunity for a mama/son trip to Ann Arbor!  Not too often that the Colbster and me get to travel together, just the two of us.  We met up with Quinn in Detroit the next day.

In Detroit, the bowling alleys have long lines, metal detectors, and security that is packing.  What world is this????

When we pulled into Ann Arbor looking for parking for Colby's interview, we were greeted by a massive structure fire.  Apparently, we won't be parking THERE.

I met up for dinner with Abby and Maria to plan our upcoming track clinic!  

Colby is super impressed with the facilities at U of M.  He was smitten.

During his interview, I dropped Colby off and then went for a walk.  And then got lost while walking and couldn't find my car.  I wandered around for a good long bit and called Quinn in Detroit to come rescue me.  Which he eventually did.  He came with his friend Xavier and found my car for me.  But then I left my phone in Xavier's car, which went back with them all the way to Detroit.  And I couldn't find Colby.  It was a cluster, and I was a mess.  WHY do I get so distracted????
