At Long Last, a Sail!!

 There was a brisk wind on this gorgeous Sunday, and we needed to move the sailboat back to the marina, which means... we actually SAILED the sailboat!  Literally the second time all summer that the mainsail was used.  Pathetic.  Rob has been busy camping and doing other things, and the sailboat hasn't been sailing nearly as much as it should (or the mama wants).  Now that it's the end of the season, Rob remembers what an absolute blast it is to sail, especially with a stiff wind.  It was a great afternoon!  

Still Hanging Out on the Sail Boat

Rob parked the sailboat on the pier in town, so we have been hanging out on it, without actually sailing.  The weather continues to be spectacular, so Reagan and I continue to be on the water just as much as humanly possible.  We leave only for KC Bonkers drinks and pizza.  We have been so blessed this fall.  

 

Senior Photos

 

This is the second senior photo shoot this year with my photography-mentor John, and the first time at sunrise.  It was a GORGEOUS morning, with mist over the  field.  I have to share a few, because it was spectacular, and the pictures turned out epic, if I do say so myself :).

We aren't sailing, but we ARE sitting on the boat at sunset, and it is lovely.  Maybe not as lovely as actually sailing, but I'll take what I can get.
