Tis the season for raspberries. Given that we won't get any plums, and very few apples this year due to the hot start of the summer, we need to stock up on as many raspberries as we can!!

Men-Folk on the Isle
A friend has a big enough boat to take on Lake Superior... if she's behaving herself. This opened up the opportunity for Rob and the boys to go out to Isle Royale, for five days of swimming, fishing, hiking, and sitting around a campfire. They reportedly had a fabulous time. On the way back, though... Lake Superior decided to rile up a bit, and they hit 8 to 10 foot waves, and got thoroughly wet. The 2 hour boat ride turned into three and a half, and it was a bit precarious, but, thank God, they got home safely! AND had some great stories to tell!

Girls day in Copper Harbor
Since the boys were away, Reagan and I decided to do something ourselves. We hit the candy store, and then went for a hike! Such a fun mama/daughter time!
