A Memorial

 Reagan, Quinn and Colby's drama teacher, Dave Crowley, recently passed away.  Dave directed all three kids in the annual school play from middle school onwards, and was always supportive of them  When the boys graduated, he was there watching, and presented each with a rose.  Just a thoughtful guy.  Reagan knew that this past fall play was potentially Dave's last, and she decided she wanted to give him something special.  She gathered pictures and programs from past years' plays, and presented this really cool collage to him at the final performance.  It was really touching to see that her gift was displayed at Dave's visitation.  It obviously meant a lot to him.  

A 3rd Birthday Princess Party

 Princess Winnie turned 3, and invited me to her party herself.  It's impossible to say no to a three year old's face - and who would want to anyway?  Do I want to come to a princess birthday party?  Of COURSE I do!  

It was adorable, and sweet, and gives me hope for the future of humanity.  I'm so glad I get to adopt other people's kids, now that my own are grown.  Life would be very boring without Princess Parties.

Faith Formation Ice Chapel Build

 This is our 2nd Annual Faith Formation Family Ice Chapel Build night, wherein we all participate in the construction of Our Lady of the Snows.  It was SO. MUCH.FUN.  How I love to see all these people working together outside  to create something beautiful and holy.  Babies to seniors, kids to college students, all working towards a common purpose.  

Afterwards, we ate pizza, cupcakes and cake, played games, made gingerbread houses and spaghetti/marshmallow sculptures, and then had an indoor snowball fight and a pinata.  Just so blessed to be a part of this community!
